Besides comfort in rain or shine, the long sleeves jersey has a race fit pattern so when leaned over in the cycling position, air flows over efficiently. The fabrics are put together with reduced seams for extra comfort. The DWR coating is been added to repel water. The Thermoflex keeps a cyclist warm while the coating creates a surface where water bounces off the fabric without a trace. The waist lies flat and moves with a shifting body and Castelli’s silicone gripper at waist keeps the jersey from riding up. The Windstopper 150 LRR in the front and sleeves is the lightest Gore Windstopper fabric made of a three-layer knit fabric that has total windproofness, and breathability. The articulated collar keeps out rain and cool weather while maintaining contact with the skin without any chafing. The collar feels very soft against the skin. The ROS in the Castelli Alpha ROS Jersey stands for rain or shine. While the long sleeve jersey has the traditional 3 rear pockets for storage, a front zippered pocket provides a secure location to store keys or money when it’s wet outside. The top is made for the racer who needs to be aero. Castelli added the Waterproof YKK Vislon zipper.
